WE MAKE YOU HAPPY and IT’S YES blend skill and creativity to build spaces that once existed only in imagination. To celebrate this natural alliance, a fragrance was created in collaboration with Laura De Coninck.
Laura De Coninck is known for her work across visual and olfactory arts. The assignment was precise. Create a fragrance that merges the characteristics of both agencies into one coherent composition.
The result balances contrast and nuance.
Warmth, strength and character were translated into a Pepperwood accord combining saffron, clove, sage, black pepper and cardamom. Deep wood notes of cedar and guaiac add structure, while sandalwood softened with white musk, milk notes and vanilla brings depth and creaminess.
Clarity and energy were expressed through bergamot, modern transparent woods and ambroxan, creating lift and radiance. A bespoke Cuberdon accord, inspired by the iconic Ghent confection, introduces sugar, violet, heliotrope and a subtle acidic touch. Familiar yet elevated.
The physical object was developed in-house by IT'S YES. A wooden case designed not merely as packaging, but as a diffusion surface that allows the scent to live and evolve within a space.
