Stranger Things by Netflix
Berlin felt it first. The moment right before something shifts.
For the launch of Stranger Things Season 5, Netflix wanted to extend the story beyond the screen and into the city itself.
We developed an experiential concept that turned Berlin into part of the narrative. A self-guided bike route guided participants through the city, following a circular journey inspired by the Upside Down. Moving through real streets, the tension of the series slowly built with every stop.
The route led to Tempelhof Airport, where the experience fully unfolded. Guests entered a sequence of immersive environments inspired by the show. The Upside Down Forest. The Creel House. Vecna’s mind. A van suspended by telekinetic force. Each space was designed to translate the scale and atmosphere of the final season into a physical experience.
Berlin’s raw character amplified the story. A city in motion, meeting a series approaching its finale. The experience brought together movement, scenography and live storytelling, allowing audiences to step inside the world of Stranger Things one last time.
The project was developed in close collaboration with We Are Paloma, Netflix Deutschland and ITS YES.
