Samsung Restaurant
For S26MART, Benelux Bar in Amsterdam was temporarily transformed into a restaurant that didn’t behave like one.
There was no traditional starting point. No menu handed out at the table. Instead, guests moved through a custom-built convenience store, selecting ingredients based on instinct, curiosity or mood.
Those choices became the foundation of the experience. An AI layer translated them into a suggested dish, which was then brought to life by a Korean chef. A continuous exchange between technology and craft, between input and interpretation.
The space supported that shift. Part retail, part dining environment, designed to encourage movement, interaction and a different rhythm of dining.
We Make You Happy was responsible for the set design and overall production, translating the concept into a spatial experience that felt intuitive rather than directed.
