Despacio at FTI Gent
2024 marked the moment Despacio landed on Belgian soil. This world-renowned sound system, brought to life by James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) and the Dewaele brothers (2manydj’s, Soulwax), transformed Ghent’s Wintercircus — the city’s hub for innovation and tech — into an immersive sound experience functioning as the afterparty during one of FTI’s early festival editions.
We set the tone for the entire production of Despacio’s first-ever Belgian event. Our partner ARF&YES elevated the experience with an accompanying light show. With its 7 towering speakers, 48 Macintosh amplifiers and 50 000 Watts, Despacio brought clubbing in its purest form: being in the moment, and truly feeling what music does to your body and mind. Despacio isn’t just sound — it’s happiness.
