The Empress by Netflix
Netflix, the global on-demand streaming service, showcases series and films for everyone, everywhere. Paloma, an independent campaign agency, surprises audiences through content, experiences, and film. For the release of the second season of Die Kaiserin, we packed our bags for Vienna, joined forces with ARF&YES, and took on the full production of this epic launch event with PR and influencers.
Inspired by the rebellious spirit of main character Elisabeth of Austria, we broke with the opulent baroque style of both the series and event location. Instead, we embraced sleek modernity. Luxurious blue curtains framed the entrace to our Club Elisabeth — a contemporary nightclub booth inside Café Gloriette, located in the gardens of the historic Schönbrunn Palace Park — once the grounds of the Austrian empress. The design featured a custom-built DJ booth, striking light design, a tattoo parlor, an on-brand press wall, and a mirrored bar.
